Description

Framed and glazed acclamation for the services provided by Mrs Maud Ball, O.B.E., (Deputy Chairman of the Council), 1968-1969. In 1974 Mrs Ball was Councillor for Manor Ward, and was living at Rosalind Court, Meadow Road, Barking.

Certificate on white paper with 25 lines of pinted and written text in black and red ink. Names of awardees in gold. Signatures in black ink.

W. Aplin / The Deputy Chairman of the Council / Mrs Maud Ball, O.B.E. / for their able, couteous and impartial services in the / Chair from May 1968 to April 1969, and for the / distinguished manner in which they have fulfilled their / excating tasks over that period as the Council's ceremonial / representatives; and that inscribed copies of this resolution / be sealed with the seal of the council and presented to / the members concerened. / Leslie Freeman [signature] / The Right Hon. the Chairman of the Council / (Leslie Freeman, Esq., O.B.E.) / A.W.
