Best old pigeon in show
Silver trophy presented by J. T. Eade Esq, on behalf of the Romford Fanciers Association for the best old pigeon at the annual show. The trophy dates from 1935, when Dagenham was part of the Rural District of Romford. It was won at the 'Three Towns Show' (later the Town Show), which comprised Romford, Hornchurch and Dagenham. Dagenham became a borough in its own right in 1938.
Small trophy with a deep, undecorated cup. The stem has a double band in the middle, which has beaded decoration. The foot is shallow and undecorated. Set on a black plastic plinth. The winners names are engraved on the back of the trophy, except one which is engraved on the plinth.
