Description

Ceremonial dress blazer worn by the mace bearer of the Borough of Barking. Possibly used between 1970 and 1980.

Physical description

Navy blue long blazer made of heavy fabric. Has gold braidings around the cuffs and lapels. Has four brass buttons down the front and an embroidered badge of Barking on each lapel. The brass buttons bear an embossed ?B? inside a fastened belt.
