Waist length portrait of a seated older gentleman. He is wearing a black berat and a dark silk coat, a light coloured embroidered waistcoat with white ruff sleeves. He is turned to his left and has his right hand on his hip, and left arm resting on a table with a booklet in his hand. Dark background with inscription on right side of sitters head.
