Description

Crested ware milk jug bearing a transferred image of St. Margaret's Church, Barking.

Physical description

Small glazed milk jug, bearing a sepia toned transfer image of St. Margaret's Church, Barking. The background of the transfer has been hand painted in blue. The sides and back of the body of the jug is pink, while the handle, spout and inside are white. There is gilt decoration around the rim, the spout and the transfer image, and along the centre of the handle.
