Description

Pastel drawing of Crown Street looking west. The drawing was started in 1960, but only finished in 2007 when Mr Kiddier found the unfinished work in the loft.

Physical description

Colourful street scene at a ?T? junction. The corner of a timbre framed shop is seen on the left. A low weather-boarded building sits on the right (the piggery?), which has a series of buildings attached to it that disappear into the distance. The roofs of further buildings, and treetops can be seen in the background. There is a dog on the pavement in the foreground and pedestrians in the centerground.
