Krone und Schleier Exhibition Guide
Guide to the exhibition held at the Ruhrlandmuseum, Essen from March - June 2005. The exhibition showed the art of female monasticism of the Middle Ages. Valence House Museum loaned archaeological artifacts from the Barking Abbey site for inclusion in the exhibition. This booklet was given to the museum in appreciation for the loan of the objects.
A4 glossy, colour printed booklet with 12 pages, plus cover. Printed throughout in German (in red ink) and English (in grey ink), with images of a selection of objects from the exhibition. The front cover gives the title in German and English, and a detail image of the "Vision of St. Clare, fragment of a baldachin alter retable, Nuremburg, ca. 1350/60, Privatbesitz".
