The Army takes its responsibilities as a public service seriously and the Presentation Team seeks to promote awareness and understanding of how the Regular and Territorial Army operate and how we interact with the other sections of society. We particularly welcome attendance by people who have little or no previous knowledge of the Army’s activities. I do hope you will be able to join us on Monday 21st November 2005 at The Broadway Theatre, Barking and very much hope that when we meet you will take the opportunity to discuss some of the subjects we raise or any other questions you might have. The evening will start with a drinks reception and continues with the main presentation. This is followed by an opportunity to ask questions in open forum to the Team and a number of more local Army representatives from your area. The evening will conclude with a finger buffet and an opportunity to chat to any of the military personnel present who will represent both Regular and Territorial local units. I hope the evening will also provide you with an opportunity to foster local contacts; the audience will include many other influential leaders in the local community. This in [sic] an invitation only event but we would be delighted if you wished to bring along colleagues or send a representative if you were unable to attend yourself.
