Description

Portrait of Renette, born 17th January 1934, the daughter of Irene Fanshawe. Renette is from the Russian branch of the Fanshawe Family, which decends from Henry Fanshawe (1756-1828) of Dengie and Mertin, and of Uleniec, Poland, who was a General in Russian Service. His three youngest sons followed him into service, of whom Frederick George (1788-1831) is the great-great grandfather of Renette.

Pencil portrait of the head, neck and top of shoulders of a young child. She is wearing a white bonnet with a bow on top and white dress and is looking to her left. Shaded in grey.
