Description

Mounted certificate showing that Joan Wakling passed her Primary equitation test at Westbank Riding Club on 9th July 1966.

Physical description

Cream coloured card certificate mounted on a piece of dark red paper. At the center top of the certificate is a horses head, facing left in a circle. Just below this, to the left and right are two art deco style floral scrolls. Below this is the main body of text giving details of the test passed and by whom. Printed throughout in black ink. In the center of the right hand side is a large red circular sticker which is embossed with "West Bank / Riding School". Beside the certificate, on the right hand side is a length of cream ribbon which has been stuck to the red paper.
