Description

Souvenir programme for the extradornary meeting of the Council for the Presentation of the Freedom of the Borough to Gilbert James Godfrey Beane ESQ, Alderman George Henry Arthur Crouch and Mrs Annie Rosina Thomas on Friday 8th March 1974 at 7:30pm. From a collection of items documenting Mrs Godfrey's time as Mayor elect for London Borough of Barking for the year 1974-5. Her daughter, Hilda Bastable was her Mayoress for this term.

Brinted booklet bound in textured card with the Borough logo on the front in colour. Printed throughout in black ink. Page 1: Title page. Page 3: Invitation from S.
