Sepia toned picture showing a town. In the foreground is a park with trees, enclosed by a picket fence. A lady, gentleman and child dressed in Victorian clothing are standing in the park entrance. A wide road separates the park from a large brick building (in the very centre of the picture) which has farm buildings or stables attached to its left side. Outside of the building is a horse and carriage. To the right of this building and in the background are a number of brick buildings and tall smoking chimneys. The spire of St Edward the Confessor church is just visible above the roofs in the right background.
