Physical description

View of the front of Valence House showing the southern and western sides of the building. There is part of a tree in the foreground which has its trunk at the far right of the painting with the branches and leaves overhanging to the left. There is a Ginko tree to the left in the backround in front of the western face of the house. There is a gravel lower foreground. The southern face of the house is in the sun, the western face is in the shade. The artist has signed the painting in the lower left corner.
