Physical description

Watercolour painting showing the front of Valence House. The building takes up the center ground, covering three-quarters of the length of the paper. Above the house is a clear blue sky, with the top of one tree just visible above the roof. In the foreground is the turning circle and drive which has a large puddle in the right hand corner. The left side is framed by the tulip tree and the right side by bushes.
