Royal Air Force Airman's service book. Belonged to Ronald Stanley Morbey, L.A.C. (Leading Aircraftman) of 20 Osborne Square, Dagenham. Born 27.02.33, Ronald Morbey was a Compositor when he singed up for National Service with the Air force on 8th April 1953, where he was a wireless operator. His service finished on 25.04.55, after which time he entered the RAF Reserve for part-time service. Contains items LDVAL 2005.32.2-6.
Small book with 12 pages and cardboard covers, covered in blue fabric. Stamped black lettering on front cover. First page contains printed instruction to he airman. Pages 2-7 contain printed pages with spaces for completion, and some of these spaces have been completed in blue ink, black ink and pencil. Page 8 has instructions on the drawing up of wills and page 9 contains a specimen will. Page 10 has instructions relating to sickness whilst on leave, and pages 11 and 12 are ruled with space for notes. The back cover has pockets for the insertion of other service paperwork.
