Desert spoon made of Albion Silver. Donated to be part of the Becontree Room display.

Physical description

Medium sized metal desert spoon. Has an elongated bowl which is wider at the base than the tip. The stem has a narrow waist that starts with a wide base which decreases at a sharp angle. The stem then suddenly flares out again the form a wide, flat head. The whole is undecorated except for a small scallop on the underside of the head of the stem and an oval relief at the point where the stem joins the bowl. The metal has a gold tone.
