Un-hallmarked white metal trophy. Called the Jane Holland Cup, it was presented by Thomas Holland Esq to the Best Decorated Motor Vehicles (trade) inthe Barking Carnival Procession. Awarded between 1955 and 1967.

Physical description

Large white metal trophy, either silver or silver plated. Decorated on the cup and foot with deep embossed floral decoration. The cup section is tall and rounded and has beaded decoration at the rim. The stem is long and plain with a beaded band at the centre. The foot is un-stepped and has beaded decoration around the lip. The handles attach to the top and bottom of the cup and are decorated with leaves and flowers. Set on a black plastic plinth bearing 10 silver shield displaying the names of the winners.
