John Fanshawe, 3rd of Parsloes, was the son of John Fanshawe (See no.37) and his wife Alice. He matriculated at Trinity College in 1678 and entered the Inner Temple in 1680. John later became the Auditor of the Duchy of Lancaster. On 21st November 1695 he married his distant cousin Mary Coke at Barking. Together they had four children: Thomas (1696-1758) (See no.1); John (1697-1763) (See no.44); Susannah (1698-1759) (See no.39); Charles (1699-1757) (See no.350). He died at the age of 37 and was buried at Barking.
