Commemorative medal marking Queen Elizabeth II's 80th birthday. Given to all scholos in the Borough.

Physical description

Gold tone coin showing, on the obverse: the queens head in profile, surrounded by the dedication. Reverse: Coat-of-arms of England, Scotland and Ireland around a central crown. interspersed with the English rose, Scottish thistle, Welsh leek and Irish shamrock. The coin is set into a blue card holder, which is embossed in gold on the obverse: a circle of crowns, roses, leeks, shamrocks and thistles, with the dedication above and below. Reverse: Schools name.In a clear plastic holder.
