White cotton nightdress that was worn by Elizabeth Weidner (nee Jermy). Elizabeth Jermy was born in Whitechaple, London in 1871. In 1889 she married Walter Charles Weidner, a Gas Labourer from Barking. In 1891, they were living at 5 Collier PLace, Fisher Street, Barking. By 1901 they had moved to 26 James Street, Barking with their 5 year old daughter Elizabeth and 1 year old son Walter.

Physical description

White cotton full length nightdress with long sleeves. Machine stitched. Has a pintucked and broderie anglaise chest piece, which buttons down.Has a high sqauer neckline. The cuffs are finished in broderie anglaise. With self fabric buttons.
