Postcard depicting the barking abbey north gate, there is a handwritten note on the reverse that reads ?old Abbey gate Barking?

Physical description

White card postcard, a faded illustration of Barking Abbey's north gate is visable on the front, depicting the gate itself, a underneath the arch, there are stacks of wood in the bottom right, a young boy sits on a stool in the bottom right, there is a tree in the top right, and a cross above the gate archway. The reverse has the words ?Post Card? written at the top, a space for a stamp in the top right, on the right hand side is a place for an address, instead of an address here there is only a note ?Old Abbey Gate Barking?, there is also space for any communication on the left hand side
