History

Jim Thompson worked in the New Tool Room at the Ford Motor Company, Dagenham between 1969 and 2010. During his time working for the company he was involved in the training of apprentices, and even helped organise a reunion of former apprentices and staff from Tooling Operations. Please note that much of the material within this collection was given to him whilst organising this reunion in 2009. He also donated a number of related objects, which have been transferred to Valence House Museum.
